Continental 6,3mm Bore Acetylene Hose - 2m Length Fitted G3/8 x G3/8 HCV

This 2m Continental hose branded Conti-tech is from the Continental "standard" range of hoses designed for everyday use at value for money costs, designed for compliance with BS EN 3821,  When you require the best quality hose then Continental still supply their heavy duty BS EN3821 hoses as well of course.

This "standard quality Continental" hose is supplied complete with left hand threaded fittings for use with acetylene. The G3/8 BSP Hose Check Valve (HCV) is designed for use on standard size blowpipes such as the Type 3 or Type 5 shank or the NM250 cutting blowpipe or any similar size torches.  These HCV have been designed so as not to restrict the flow thereby reducing the pressure drop which many lower cost HCV exhibit which is important when it comes to setting and using your torch and nozzle combination.  The Noz-Alls HCV are designed to comply with BS EN 5175-2 plus BS EN 1256 relevant parts.

At the inlet to the hose the fittings are G3/8 BSP left hand nut, this end screws onto the regulator or Flash Back Arrestor (FBA) when using reg mounted FBAs. 

These Continental hoses are good quality, durable and importantly flexible. They come complete and have full British Standards Certification. Every hose check valve is checked to ensure it performs correctly before it is fitted to the hose. The hose assembly has been tested to BSEN1256

It is important to remember that acetylene hose cannot be used with propane as this hose does not have a neoprene lining. If you wish to use propane then please use orange propane hose.
