Welding blankets come in various forms and it often isn't as simple as picking which grade 'duty' you need. We have something for everyone and while temperature protection is one requirement aspect the other is the material it is construction from.
Light Duty - Fibreglass - Medium and light use against sparks and spatter. 550°C.
Medium Duty - Vermiculate - Heavy industry use against sparks and spatter with abrasion resistance. 750°C.
Heavy Duty - Silica - Car garages and body shops or where ultimate heat protection is required. Silica content helps to protect against marking and scratching paintwork. 1100°C.
