Our stainless MIG wire has added silicon content to give a smoother weld result making your life easier and your boss happier. Not only does the added silicon mean a smoother weld it should also result in less finishing work being required. Welding time can therefore increase and grinding tools usage can decrease. It is this reason that 316LSi is the preferred type of stainless wire for MIG welding.
316 grade of stainless is typically reserved for food hygiene and marine purposes but it can of course be used in numerous industries. If you need to weld 316 together than make sure it is this 316LSi wire from Noz-Alls.
A molybdenum bearing, stainless steel with low carbon content. It is corrosion resistant for welding molybdenum bearing austenitic stainless steels.
