Type 347 Stainless Steel - 1.6mm Diameter - 2.5kg Total 

We sell 347 TIG rod in split pack weights - 2.5kg will be the lowest amount you receive. Usually it is a few grams more. For any split pack listing, we don't run to the nearest rod we us it as a minimum.

347 Stainless TIG rod gives excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for 18/8 type stainless steels, Nb and Ti stablished. For example 304 stainless and 321 stainless where the weld will be subjected to temperatures over 400 degrees C.Noz-Alls 347 is also suitable for 308L filler metal applications.
Cast stainless steel wise, CF-8C is the equivalent of 347.

Ideal processes for 347 stainless would be ship building, offshore industry, power generation, process industry, repair and mainance as well as general fabriaction and construction. Generally where similar materials are used (including higher carbon types) as well as ferritic 13% Cr steels. Weld results have excellent resistance and inter-granular corrosion.
