Cross cut burr

As with all 6mm carbide burrs, they are made out of solid tungsten carbide compared to the larger pieces which as brazed onto high speed steel. As such, the 6mm burrs must be treated slightly differently. Ensure the shaft of the burr is installed into your die grinder as close to the cutting head as possible to reduce the lateral load on the shaft. Too much lateral load will result in the bit braking. The good news is that with any carbide burr, they eat metal very quickly and so you should only be using light pressure when working it.
