Bench Mounted Gas Economiser - Oxy / Fuel G3/8 Connections
The Oxy / propane gas economiser allows quick and frequent operations to be carried out without having to set the precise flame each and every time. The blowpipe / nozzle is set-up with the desired flame, pilot light ignited then the gas economiser is ready for repeated intermittent use. The gas economiser makes your workload easier, quicker and more efficient. These products should be used in conjunction with "multi-stage" regulator supplying the oxygen and single stage 1 gauge regulator for the propane as fuel. 

Please remember that when using oxy / propane or oxy / propylene it is not possible to fusion weld, you may heat, braze, silver solder, soft solder et cetera, you just can't weld.  The high oxygen content of the oxy / prop flame makes any "weld" very brittle.

The solid brass body of this Gas Economiser has been designed to be simply mounted on the edge of the work bench without the need for holes to be drilled through the workbench top through which to feed the gas supply hoses.  Another advantage is that the supply hoses are not exposed at the top of the bench where there is frequently hot work as they connect from the underside.

Inlet and outlet connections are G 3/8 BSP Right hand for oxygen and left hand for fuel gas.
The gas economiser body is produced from hot forged brass stamping for strength and durability in the field.
All connections have been designed to be made with "metal to metal" sealing - do not use PTFE tape or other sealants.
