Powder Cutting - Iron Powder Dispenser -  50 kg capacity 

The iron powder dispenser is required for the supply of the iron powder to the powder cutting torch.  For portability the smallest iron powder dispenser is the version with wheels which will take two bags each of 25kg of Fertag iron powder i.e. it will take  either a 25 kg charge of iron powder.  (1 bag of Fertag iron powder) or two bags, should a higher capacity be required then a static powder dispenser would be used as it becomes too heavy to move around.

The most common powder dispenser is the 50 kg version as this accommodates 1 or 2 bags of iron powder.  This allows longer operating times and less frequent recharging.  Iron powder must not be left in the dispenser when not in use for more than 1/2 a day.  It must always be emptied out and blow clear of iron powder after each use and at least every 8 hours when in constant use so as to prevent clogging et cetera.

The powder in the unit is fluidised by either dry cylinder nitrogen or clean, dry compressed air. The dispenser does have a water separator fitted as well as iron powder flow regulator however the water separator must not be relied upon it is better to have dry gas to start with.
