Heavy Duty Nozzle Mix Cutting Torch - Straight Head - 180 degree

This is a serious cutting torch designed to cut thick section steel whilst working in "heavy industry" under the most arduous conditions.  The heavy duty cutting torch has been designed to be long enough to allow accurate control of the cutting kerf whilst being the correct length to ensure the operator is as comfortable as is possible.  When cutting material up to 1050mm thick the 180 degree head is essential due to the force experienced when the cutting oxygen is at full flow.  The cutting torch head being at 180 degrees ensures the molten dross and heat is blown away from the artisan.  The correct type and quality of PPE is very important when working with this type of cutting torch plus of course due consideration has to be given to the work environment.

Due to the material thickness that this torch is capable of cutting the majority of cutting nozzles operate on oxy / propane however there are oxy /acetylene nozzles available if you are able to provide sufficient acetylene flow.

The blowpipe (correct designation for what we call the torch / lamp) and nozzle work on the nozzle mix principle which makes it safer to use than injector mix systems.  The cutting torch has a large hand wheel to turn the cutting oxygen on and off, this makes bleeding the oxygen into the cut kerf easy plus of course the artisan does not suffer with fatigue.
