F-Tech Fox Torch Fume Extraction at Source - Two Torches

The H&SE prefer your welding fume to be extracted at source, which make sense really, when that is possible - not always possible of course.  With a fume extraction torch the majority of the welding fume is being collected immediately after you have put your weld down.  Use in conjunction with the CWS TC180D PAPR fully automatic welding mask with 6 speed fan for complete (TH3) protection from welding fume.
The F-Tech Fox is a high vacuum dust and fume filtering unit to which two fume extraction MIG welding torches may be fitted, or you could fit one torch and one bench mounted extraction funnel depending on what your requirements may be.  The "FOX" is very compact with a small footprint so will take up little space on your workshop floor and in your work space which makes it the ideal fume partner for you.

The F-Tech filter will remove both welding fume and grinding dust so you don't need two different filter units, this one unit will work on both.  There are twin motors which provide for over 20kPa negative pressure extraction levels which ensure constant extraction of the highest level is possible.  The filter unit makes use of an hour meter which allows you to maintain control over the use and expected filter use / change / cleaning when required.  There is a fan speed control which is really useful because some fume extraction MIG torches like the Holch from Noz-Alls work better with the suction turned down on many applications.

The filter unit make use of ePTFE filters certified to H13 and are manufactured in Europe, these filters are the best for removing larger amounts of dust.  The two filters are robust and designed for a long service life with cleaning being carried out by automatic nozzles actuated by the differential pressure measured across the filters within the filter housing.  With the filters being manufactured in Europe the filters are certified in Germany by the German institute for occupational therapy.
Automatic filter cleaning for the filter cartridge helps to make working with the unit easier plus the dust is collected in the lower  pull out dust tray to allow easy removal of waste, mask and gloves are provided and should always be used.
