Harris Style H6290 VAC - VAX Acetylene High Speed Machine Cutting Nozzzles

Harris style H6290 VAC / VAX is a two piece oxy / acetylene machine cutting nozzle. This cutting nozzle conforms to the typical H6290 pre-mix injector design nozzles. The VAC / VAX is the acetylene version of the VVC but contained within a more compact size range.

These high speed nozzles are a simple high speed cutting nozzle and operate at relatively low cutting oxygen pressures from 5 to 7.5 bar. These lower cutting oxygen pressures mean that these nozzles are relatively "forgiving" in terms of being mis-set while they will provide a typical 25 to 35% increase in cutting speed, when set correctly, compared to a standard hand cutting nozzle like the H6290AC.
The cutting oxygen pressure should always be measured at the torch inlet i.e. after it has passed through the machine controls / valves et cetera.
