The clean filtered air distribution around the mask is adjustable so you remain comfortable and don't suffer with the problems associated with cheap masks such as "dry eyes" or a "chilled forehead and nose" which can result in a runny nose and headache which then reduces the artisan efficiency and working period.  The Optrel ClearMaxx PAPR mask eliminates all these problems through being well designed with features to ensure you reman comfortable and are able to wear your mask for extended periods without having to remove your mask.  To that effect the standard E3000X Optrel battery has an 18 hour run time so there is no danger of running out of power during a normal or extended working day.  Optrel have a long life battery available which extended the operation time to 27 hours and tis battery is the same size as the standard battery and only a few grams heavier.
The ClearMaxx mask is lightweight at just 390grams and has been ergonomically designed to fit to ensure your comfort.

The PAPR filter has 3 air flow levels of 170 l/min, 210 l/min & 240 l/min so you may set the most comfortable flow depending on your activity level.  The air pump is intellligent and will not shut off should the filter start to indicate that it is clogging, instead the filter will push the air flow to help maintain the flow and will then if necessary drop the flow rate to the next appropriate level so you are able to continue working.
The clean filtered air from the filter is fed directly through to your mouth and nose to ensure the clean air is where you need it, however for added comfort while working it is possible to adjust the internal flow control valve in the ClearMaxx mask so as to distribute up to 20% of the cooled filtered air across the forehead, the flow path  prevents dry eyes whilst ensuring you of the maximum comfort while you work.

The Optrel ClearMaxx coupled with the Optrel E3000X PAPR fitler system ensures you breath filtered air to the highest standard - TH3 - filtering out 99.8% of respirable particles plus there will shortly be a "gas" filter available which adds on to the E3000X filter pack and this will also protect you from hazardous or toxic gases being suitable protection from A1 B1 E1 classes of gas - organic gas, anorganic gas and acid gases.
