Permabond MH052  - Oxygen Compatible Thread Locking Compound to 10 barg.

When you need to lock components together which may be used with oxygen then the Permabond MH052 is an "Anaerobic" thread sealant.  This thread locking compound has been approved for gaseous oxygen up to 10bar gauge (145psig).
This thread sealant is also suitable for use with natural gas and LPG gases up to 20 bar gauge with a working temperature of up to 60 degrees Celsius.  The MH052 provides a seal with water, LPG, hydrocarbons, oils and other chemicals with a seal effect to the bursting pressure of the pipe. 
The maximum gap fill is 0.5mm (0.020")
Maximum thread diameter being M52  (2")

Based on M10 steel
Time taken to reach handling strength is 15 minutes at 23oC
Time taken to reach working strength is 1 to 3 hours, with full strength achieved in 24 hours (at 23oC)

The MH052 oxygen compatible thread sealant is supplied in a 75ml container which has a "bellows" which allows for relatively easy application.  The bellows have and external shroud which allows the container to be stood securely  on a shelf.
Remember to cut the tip of the dispensing nozzle off the new tube before you attempt to use it!
