Pipe Cutting Machine Extra Chain Links
These cast iron chain links easily slide into position when set at the correct angle - not an angle achieved during normal pipe cutting operations.
Although these links are accurately cast it is always best when setting up round a pipe to mark on the pipe the track the Pipe Wizard wheels should be following as well as marking a track which the chain loop should be set to. When the initial set-up has been made with both the wheels and chain set to the marking a test run around the pipe should be made to ensure the cut starts and finishes at the same point ensuring that no helix exists.
It is very important to ensure the chain link is set-up the correct way round, see image two as this shows both the incorrect and the correct way the chain has to be used.
Image two the loop on the left is incorrect, the loop on the right is correct as this has the exposed slot to the outside of the loop around the pipe and chain drive wheel.
