Inert Gases Quick Connector Body - Screws Directly to Regulator G3/8 Outlet Connection

This quick connector body has a captive loose G3/8 nut to connect to the regulator outlet connection.
Disconnection of the probe from the QC body prevents the gas flow which allows the regulator to remain set while the welder supply pipe is switched.
These QC units make it really easy and quick to switch your shielding gas supply quickly from one welder to another or for when you need to add in an extra length of hose so as to be able to move your welder away from the cylinder.
Having regulator mounted quick connectors allows the hoses to be removed from point to point within a workshop. In this case the hoses would have to be purged before welding again.
Each quick connector comes complete with a 3/8 BSP connection nut to be screwed to the regulator or flowmeter outlet connection. The QC body has a shut off valve so when the hose is unplugged the gas flow from regulator stops.
These same QC bodies can be used for coupling to the welder by making use of a threaded adaptor with either a G1/4 or G3/8 thread so that the QC body connects to your hose and when unplugged from your welder the shielding gas will stop flowing without having to be turned off first.
Hose nipple probes and G3/8 probes are available at an extra cost.
