Excalibur Standard DA Mixer - Type 3 /5 Acetylene

This is the standard DA Excalibur mixer which is for use use with the "Swaged Type 5" welding nozzles.  - Note that these mixers are now fitted with a brass nut and not the aluminium nut as shown in several of the photos.

The standard mixer allows the fitment of nozzle sizes #1 through to #35 as well as the AHT standard neck for use with the AHT #25.  These are the maximum size nozzles that may be used with a standard industrial dissolved acetylene (DA) cylinder (8kg gas) without pulling off acetone during normal use.

Suitable fusion welding nozzles to fit the standard DA mixer are:-
#1A, #2A, #3A, #5A, #7A, #10A, #13A, #18A, #25A & #35A
plus the heating nozzle AHT #25.

Oxy / Propane Brazing Nozzles
This standard acetylene Excalibur mixer is also suitable for use with our range of oxy / propane brazing and small heating nozzles.

Please note that our mixer now has a brass connection nut instead of the aluminium nut shown in the picture.
The swaged Type 5 brazing nozzles which may be fitted to the mixer are the #1P, #2P, #3P, #5P, #7P, #10P, #13P, #18P & #25P plus the PHT #15, PHT #30 & PHT #60 when fitted to the copper neck.
