NEW Rothenberger SuperFire PRO Professional Blowtorch Set with Interchangeable Heads
This SuperFire PRO blowtorch handle is the latest in the professional range from Rothenberger as you would expect from Rothenberger the blowtorch handle has been well designed with all the controls falling easily into position making the blowtorch simple, quick and easy to use. As with most professional blowtorch systems they make use of the large 1” thread fuel gas canister connection available with blue being the Propane and Yellow being Propylene – commonly referred to as MAP - please note do not use the cheap gas mixtures which previously had only been available in the small thread (7/16”) size connection, however there are now “cheap” gases being sold which are mixed gases in the yellow canisters diluted with cheap heavy gases like butane.
Stick to the Rothenberger propane – blue- or Rothenberger propylene – yellow canisters for the best operating results. The Yellow propylene fuel gas provides about 30 degree hotter flame temperature when compared to air / propane mixture.
The SuperFire PRO burner head may be quickly swapped in and out making use of a simple bayonet fixing method, there are eight different burner heads to choose from, to suit most of the typical applications you are likely to need from this type of blowtorch, give Noz-Alls a ring and we can let you know what we have available.
The SuperFire PRO blowpipe set that Noz-Alls market is the version with two burner heads (1500004973) which includes the standard cyclone burner along with the Cool Tip burner.
(150004978 & 1500004981 respectively). Order the set as PA4108.
As you would expect from a professional blowtorch the quality of the Rothenberger unit is really good, the small gas flow control knob is out of the way and unlikely to be knocked or adjusted inadvertently while in use.
Screw your canister of choice (yellow or blue) to the blowtorch handle – confirm the canister is correctly attached and not leaking.
Igniting the blowtorch is simple, turn the gas flow control knob about 45 degrees in an anti-clockwise direction (looking at the top of the knob - no gas will flow) depressing the igniter button initiates the gas flow which is ignited by the Piezo ignition, now adjust the flow setting to your desired flame size. The burner flame will remain alight so long as the button remains depressed. The operating button may be locked in position by depressing the lock button situated just above the main operating button.
