TC180D PAPR - Lithium Battery Standard Battery 14 Hour Run Time

Having a spare battery for your PAPR ADF TC180D Welding mask is the best way of maximising battery life because the lithium ion batteries should be fully cycled, i.e. given a full charge operated until 30% or less charge remains then recharge fully.  Each time the battery is plugged in for charging is one charge cycle from the battery life of an expected life of about 500 charge cycles.

Note that lithium ion batteries must never be stored with less than 35% charge otherwise the battery will fail and it will not be possible to charge the battery.  Therefore if you are not going to use the PAPR TC180D welding mask system then the battery must be charged before being stored.

Each battery has its own LED charge meter which indicates the level of charge, the last 1% to 2% of charge, from 98% to 100% charge takes a disproportionately long time, probably 20 to 30 minutes so please therefor be patient before removing from charge.
