The TC5 Advanced gives you the brightest and clearest view available on the market today together with a truly large viewing area, no other mask can match what the TC5 Advanced has to offer.  Clear state DIN shade #2 is the closest to what our eyes view, on the same DIN scale our eyes would view DIN #1 – which is not yet possible / available in an ADF welding mask, DIN shade #2 is the clearest lens available at the present time, some of the leading / top brands offer DIN shade 2.5 as a clear state while Optrel offer DIN shade #2 but with a smaller lens size viewing area.

There are many advantages when using the new TC5 Advanced welding mask, great strides in technology have been made and these advances have been built in to this TC5 advanced welding mask.  Wearing the TC5 Advanced you have all the advantages of the standard TC5 which includes the truly large automatic darkening lens however the TC5 Advanced also provides the option of being able to remove the sides of the mask and replace them with fixed shade 5 lenses, simply pop out the black plastic sides and clip in the two shade five lenses - make sure you keep the two blank infill plugs for when you wish to return to being a "normal"  type mask.

Fitting the fixed shade 5 side view lenses provides you with greater awareness of what is around you whilst you work , which could greatly improve your safety and the safety of those around you.  
 
The Digital TC5 Advanced mask includes all the advantages of the latest technology providing you with features which enable you to concentrate on your welding accuracy thereby obtaining the best weld result which will improve working productivity whilst ensuring improved artisan experience by providing the advantage of, “gradual return to light state” which helps reduce eye strain.  A key advantage is the ability for the TC5 Advanced mask to automatically set the correct dark shade level no matter what power or arc process you are using, the clear state shade #2 will auto darken to a shade level based on the power of the arc, this ability provides you with the ability to see your work to ensure it is never too dark.  The artisan may choose to push the auto darkening shade by plus 2 shade levels through to minus two shade levels so that the mask provides you with the level of comfort that you desire and prefer.
 
Having such a large view with the clear state of shade two enables you to continue to wear your TC5 Advanced mask for secondary operations and not have to lift the welding mask, when grinding you do not wish for the mask to auto darken and to prevent this there is a large green button on the side of the mask which it is possible to push with a gloved hand enabling the auto darkening feature to toggle on and off.
 
Five arc sensors ensure the TC5 advanced mask doesn’t get “caught out” by odd light situations the 5 sensors improve the ability for the mask to darken correctly.
 
This new TC5 Advanced mask provides a wide choice of auto darkening shades from DIN shade #4 right through to DIN shade #12 with the clear state being shade #2.
 
The optical quality of the lens is the same as our standard TC5 mask, which is exceptionally high close to the highest possible to achieve, the lens measurements having attained  three ones  and a two – 1 / 1 / 1 / 2.
 
Secondary features include the ability to have fully automatic sensitivity, fully automatic return to light state as well as the gradual return to light plus of course the automatic features may be turned off and selected manually through your own choice.
