Harris Original 142F Cutting Torch or 18 x 90 Cutter

Genuine Harris cutting blowpipe this is the ambidextrous 142F with a UK market preferred top cutting lever, with a lever lock button, then underslung pre-heat control valves making the torch equally comfortable no matter whether your prime control hand is your right or your left.

The 142F cutting torch has a propane injector which makes it suitable for use with all the "propane" style Harris nozzles - Cutting H6290NX, H6290NFF, H6290GG for gouging plus the H6290D P2 - Propane sheet metal cutting.

Oxy / propane cutting nozzles will never be able to initiate the cut as quickly as oxy / acetylene as no fuel gas has the "punch" of oxy / acetylene however the design of the Harris NX and NFF oxy / propane pre-heat flame makes the pre-heat as effective as possible.  
Note  -  NEVER operate an oxy / propane injector torch with acetylene because the injector will be highly unstable plus will not mix the correct quantity of gases.

Generally Harris blowpipes will cost more than a similar type of torch from a competitor - WHY?  Well simply because the Harris torch is a much better quality torch plus will be heavier duty and built to last longer than those supplied by other companies.  

The inlet connections are standard UK connections of G3/8 Left hand and right hand.
Please remember flow is vitally important to the nozzle and many lower cost hoses use cheap HCV (hose check valves) which restrict the flow of gases to the nozzle.
All our "standard" hoses are fitted with our own HCV which provide higher gas flows.
