18mm OD Packed Thermic Lance (Similar to 3/8 Water Pipe Full length (3m)) - Pack of 5 pcs

Please note that a "3/8" packed lance has an outside diameter of about 16.6mm. Our thermic lances are produced with an 18mm OD. Our thermic lance holder is designed to accept these as well as the older 3/8 WP packed lances.  If you don't order one of our thermic lance holders please confirm if your exisiting lance holder collet will take the 18mm OD.
Many will but it is always worth checking first and if not, we do sell a suitable thermic lance holder as mentioned above.

Our thermic lances are among the best on the market. You will notice that our lances do not rattle, this is because they are tightly packed and although it is extra effort the significant increase in material gives longer burn and working time which ultimately gives you improved value for money even over our previous supplies. Couple this up with a sharper kink which is closer to the handle end and you will find even better value for money again with more workable rod.  The oxygen flow rate is more than sufficient for "cutting" applications.

Typical packed thermic lance for cutting and boring holes in all sorts of substrates, being a "packed" thermic lance means that the lance has extra fuel rods which makes the thermic lance ideal for work with concrete, brick, granite as well as metals such as aluminium, copper and stainless steels et cetera.

The lance has a "swan neck kink" at the torch end to ensure the fuel rods packing the thermic lance do not get blown out by the force of the oxygen, therefore make sure the lance is loaded in the lance holder the correct way round before igniting the lance.

These full length (3m) 3/8 packed thermic lances have plain ends which allows a simple collet and nut design to clamp down on the lance. 

Being a "packed" lance the lancing tube is filled (packed) with mild steel fuel rods along its length approximately 3mm diameter .

Item number GA0997 and GA0997b are the legacy part numbers for a supplier that no longer produces lances. 

This pack of 5 off 3m long thermic lances typically weigh 24,2 kg therefore 4.84kg per piece without any packing.

Due to the length and weight additional carriage costs will apply at point of checkout.
The length is the major factor when shipping so ordering a greater number of thermic lances (100 pcs) quite often cost the same as when ordering just a few (20 pcs).
