600A Earth Clamp - Heavy Duty Screw Type Work Return Clamp
Quick and easy to fit compared to many higher current type clamps plus this type of clamp provides a really good and secure "earth" or work return connection when compared to the simple crocodile type earth clamp. Another advantage of these quick fitting screw clamps is that they cannot easily be pulled or knocked off.
600Amp Work Return Screw Clamp
Solid cast brass / gunmetal lower jaw for good current flow - cable inlet will accept upto 150mm
2 size cable. Cable clamping pressure plate supplied for smaller cables to be clamped correctly. Cable entry hole is 14mm diameter.
- Jaw opening from 0 to 50mm - throat depth 45 - 60mm
- Screw clamp lever length 90mm provides complete cover over clamping thread.
- Solid lower brass jaw size 20mm wide x 12mm deep (narrows to 6mm)
- Top jaw chrome plated cast steel for improved clamping force. Top jaw assisted opening with a spring to allow one handed operation.
- Clamping screw is via an M12 threaded bolt and hooded lever nut.

Typically the more heavy duty the welding application the more important that a good connection for your work return lead is required. This heavy duty screw type earth clamp is much less susceptible to being knocked and no longer providing the circuit continuity and current carrying capacity that typical low cost "crocodile clamps" can achieve. The screw type clamp can be knocked and pulled without affecting the connection.
The heavy duty clamp pictured is rated to work with machines up to 600 Amps.
