CanCut CC 90 to CC180 Series Post Mixing High Speed Cutting Nozzles
Can Cut CC series of thick section cutting nozzles are easy to use, simple to set-up plus provide amazing cutting results. Generally post mixing cutting nozzles are used in heavy industry and steelworks production cutting steel blooms because the high stand-off of 150mm ensures the cutting operation is uninterrupted as dross induced failure is generally non-existent.
The above features plus the high cutting speed make the CanCut CC 100 series cutting nozzles ideal for the majority of thick section cutting applications where a good cutting speed as well as top quality slab finish are required. Cut finish to class 1 is readily achieved at high cutting speeds.
A key advantage with post mixing tips is the ability to initiate cuts without pre-heating which on a thick slab enables much faster turn round times, or a "running start".
Post mixing cutting nozzles cannot be used for piercing so a hole has to cut first for internal cutting in a slab.
These CanCut CC 100 cutting nozzles are designed to operate with oxy / propane or oxy / natural gas.
Can-Cut cutting nozzles out perform many other similar process nozzles. It is very important that the correct Oxy-Arc Int'l cutting torch is used with these Can Cut CC 100 Series nozzles because the gas flow is completely different to a standard NM cutting blowpipe.
To be able to cut efficiently the CC 100 cutting nozzle range have to have the correct supply equipment to ensure the gas flow is sufficiently high which will allow the nozzles to function at their full potential.
