Propane Sheet Metal Cutting Nozzle PSNM - Single pre-heat oxy/propane flame.

The PSNM is very similar to the ASNM or acetylene sheet metal cutting nozzle but as the name suggests this is the propane version of the Sheet Metal Cutting Nozzle the PSNM.

The nozzle design differs so as to allow the slower burning oxy / propane flame cone to be maintained on the nozzle without blowing off.  The oxy / propane cone is slightly longer hence why the design has to be different to the ASNM.

The PSNM sheet metal cutting nozzle's single pre-heat allows cutting in one direction and the nozzle is dragged across the top of the sheet metal, having just a small single pre-heat flame cone the nozzle causes much less distortion than a conventional  9 pre-heat or 9 spline PNM.  

The PSNM sheet metal cutting nozzle may be fitted in any NM250 or Type 5 shank with the cutting attachment and allows the cutting of thin mild steel sheet metal and of course the PSNM is much less costly than a plasma cutter however the PSNM will still distort more than if you used a plasma cutter and cuts much more slowly, so if you have lots of sheet to cut then a plasma cutter will be a great boon plus allows cutting of stainless steel, aluminium, copper as well as mild steel of course.
