Flexible Welding Nozzle With M8x1 Thread Fits AGA X11 or Elga D75 Injector
Flexible welding nozzle available in 4 sizes - these nozzles have a loose connection nut which enables the nozzle to be rotated within the injector.
Flexible Welding Nozzle screws directly to the injector head with the standard M8x1.0mm thread, allows the nozzle flame to be positioned in awkward positions.
The four sizes chosen for these flexible welding nozzles have been based on the UK
welding nozzle sizes :-
- Flex Size #1 A = 1CFH of DA / hour
- Flex Size #2 A = 2CFH of DA / hour
- Flex Size #3 A = 3CFH of DA / hour
- Flex Size #5 A = 5CFH of DA / hour
The copper tube work hardens fairly quickly so needs to be annealed to allow the flexible nozzle to be manipluated once again.
When a bend is required at a specific point then anneal just that point by heating the tube until dull red and quenching in cold water. This process may be repeated many times. Should you require the complete nozzle to be flexible then heat the complete length of tube and quench -
do not heat close to the tip head as head is silver soldered in position!
