Special Extended 1/2" Hose Nipple for High Pressure High Flow Use

Heavy duty Hose nipples to suit G1/2" BSP heavy duty connection nuts (24mm AF) for use with heavy duty thick walled oxygen and fuel gas hose generally with a bore of either 1/2" or 13mm. These nipples are larger in diameter, longer in length which is to allow double clamping to be applied thereby ensuring the hose will not blow off when under pressure plus cannot be pulled off.
These G1/2" hose nipples work when standard nipples don't.
Due to the applications involved the bore is as large as possible to facilitate high gas flows.
These nipples are superior to EN 560 / EN1256.
These nipples will not fit standard EN560 nuts.
Nut orifice needs to be a minimum of 16.7mm diameter.

Nipple diameter - 12.95 - Crest A = 16.10 Crest B 16.60
Note
When fitting these nipples to thick walled heavy duty hoses it will be necessary to warm the hose end in very hot water.
