Standard Bench Mounted Gas Economiser - Oxy / Fuel G3/8 x G3/8 Connections

Balance is adjustable for the size & weight of the torch / blowpipe.  This gas economiser has been designed to allow repeated intermittent use so the torch or flame setting doesn't require setting every time the torch is put into use, the torch valves are left as set and the economiser turns off both gases in sequence.  Each valve is adjustable independently should you need to adjust the setting.
Note the hose length between the gas economiser and the torch inlets should be kept as short as possible i.e. 1m to 1.5m long

Please note that  the economiser will most probably require the valves to be set prior to use.

Designed for occasional use this gas economiser has several adjustments which will allow many different weight torches to be used satisfactorily

Torch hanging arm extended - suitable for lighter weight blowpipes
Torch hanging arm short - suitable for heavier blowpipes
Inlet and outlet connections - G3/8 right hand and left hand (fuel gas) DO NOT use PTFE tape.
With torch hanging on arm in the "closed" position weight should be taken on the support block as shown in the picture.
The economiser valves are then adjusted to ensure the valves close, fuel just ahead of the oxygen.
Use the correct size "allen" key and spanner to lock the adjustment in the correct setting.
