FN Light Weight Aluminium Shank - Aircraft style shank
Small easily manipulated Light Weight aluminium shank which has many potential applications. This shank is capable of cutting mild steel from 0,8mm to 50mm thick, fusion welding steel from 0,5mm to 10mm thickness with the correct nozzle in use, plus a range of specialist "Heating & Ventilation" nozzles designed to make awkward work areas easy to reach.
The shank mixer connection has serrations to allow nozzles to be locked firmly in position in a full 360o
degree rotation making operation simple at any angle.
FN shank has the smaller G1/4 (1/4BSP) inlet connections.

Other shanks which look similar to our FN shank may have the same shape however all the Noz-Alls FN shanks are adjusted and tested in the UK by Noz-Alls to ensure they conform to
BS EN ISO 5172 this is to give you complete confidence when purcahsing the shank from Noz-Alls
There are nozzles availble for the following applications:-
Oxy / acetylene welding sizes #1A, 2A, 3A, 5A, 7A, !0A, 13A, 18A & #25A
Oxy / Propane brazing sizes #1P, 2P, 3P, 5P, 7P, 10P, 13P, 18P & #25P
Oxy / acetylene heating - sizes #1HA, #2HA, #3HA & #4HA
size number 1HA & 2HA both have six heating flames while sizes 3HA & 4HA have 10 heating flames.
Important - Acetylene supply needs to be able to provide sufficient flow
(#1HA = 10CFH DA - #2HA = 13CFH DA - #3HA = 25CFH DA and #4HA = 35CFH DA)
Oxy / propane heating - sizes #1HP, #2HP, #3HP & #4HP
size number 1HP & 2HP both have seven heating flames while sizes 3HP & 4HP have eleven heating flames.
