Acetylene, the only regular fuel gas that you can use to fusion weld mild steel, high carbon steels, stainless steel, Aluminium, Copper all this is because you can set a neutral flame, no other regular fuel gas gives you the ability to set a neutral flame.

Here to stay is Hobbyweld's own rent free Acetylene bottle. Similar to that of the BOC Portapak, this Acetylene bottle contains 0.8 cubic meters and can safely run up to a size 5 welding nozzle, cutting nozzles (ASNM, ASFN) and best of all it is rent free.

Ideal if you don't use your Acetylene enough to warrent paying rental costs for something that could be sat in the corner of your store/garage for 6 months of the year before you need it.

Simply pay a refundable one-off deposit for the cylinder and the cost of the refill then it is yours to take home.
