New Improved Oxygen Reg for Disposable Oxygen Bottles - Right Hand Thread
Now with contents and pressure gauges.
Suitable for use with micro oxy / fuel gas sets. In particular this regulator will fit our own CWS Mini Braze equipment.
This new improved pressure control regulator will also fit many of the generic disposable oxygen cylinders in the market.
Our regulator is variable from 0-10 bar and comes supplied with G1/4 outlet with right hand thread.
The thread that connects to the disposable oxygen bottle is a M10 right hand thread.
As well as now having an outlet pressure gauge the contents gauge ensures you can see just how much oxygen is left in your oxygen canister before you start work.
Other new additional features include the built in non return valve fitted into the regulator outlet along with a particle filter.
The contents gauge indicate both the typical fill levels for both the 60 bar and 110 bar canisters.
This oxygen regulator will not fit Oxyturbo oxygen canisters nor Rothenburger Oxygen canisters as both those canisters use different connection threads.
Noz-Alls do have adaptors available to suit which means you never need to be stuck!
Important Note - Mis information on other websites
Please be aware that there are no main stream industrial regulators with built in flashback arrestors - it is impracticable and too costly.
When it comes to "lower" end of the market for disposable canister regulators the cost would be really prohibative to build in a Flashback arrestor. Therefore, despite what some website are claiming there are no disposable canister regulators which have a built in flashback arrestor - they do not exist.
Do not believe what their website states.
Any Flashback arrestor would be manufactured to BS EN ISO 5175-1 (was 730-1).
Noz-Alls provide BAM approved FBA which screw to the G1/4 regulator outlet.
Second Note
Hoses may be fitted with HCV - Hose Check Valve - which is a simple non return valve.
The HCV is NOT a flashback arrestor and the HCV does not stop a flashback.
The HCV is supposed to prevent the backfeeding of gas only.
At Noz-Alls we do have torch mounted Flashback Arestors, they are larger than the HCV and cost more than the regulator mounted FBA in some cases.
Third Note
Also, please do not believe the mis-information concerning how hot some of the gas mixtures will burn at, for example one website quotes their yellow gas canister with oxygen provides 3150C this is just not possible - oxy / propane will provide 2810C and oxy / propylene provides 2872C. (Yellow MAP canister).
Oxy / acetylene provides 3106C which is the hottest commerciall available flame temperature and is able to do this with a neutral flame i.e. not oxidising, hence why it is possible to fusion weld with oxy / acetylene.
