Longer lasting disposable Oxygen canister for welding & brazing with M10 right hand male connection thread.
This large disposable welding gas canister is designed to take the mini oxygen regulator with the right hand M10 connection thread and will generally be used with brazing sets or a "Lead Welding" set using the Model "O" torch.
The larger oxygen canister provides the benefit that this canister has 4 times the contents over that of the small original disposable canister size - filled to 60 bar - and just over double the contents of the small canister filled to 110 bar.
Note - Noz-Alls do not sell the small 60 bar filled oxygen canisters as they are poor value.
The perfect cylinder for your portable units. This M10 right hand thread is the generic thread form available. Rothenberger have exclusive use of M10 left hand and Oxyturbo have exclusive use of M12 right hand.
All other gas sets including our own, Perkeo, Kemper and others use the M10 right hand.
Note
These small sets generally get used with Propane or Propylene (MAP) because acetylene is not available in miniature cylinders. Welding or fusion welding is not possible when burning propane or propylene because the flame is too oxidizing.
The oxidizing flame consumes 3.7 to 4.0 volumes of oxygen so will quickly consume the oxygen in the disposable canister - Therefore always order more.
The propane canister will probably last longer than 20 large disposable oxygen canisters!
