Aside from the usual manual welding mode, this mask will automatically select the shade level required for the intensity of the arc and can also reduce eye strain with the fade to light function rather than flashing between the dark and the light state. The PAPR Blower Unit - AirWave TH3 (APF40) 
A top spec unit which achieves TH3 APF40 (highest possible in the UK). Unrivaled quality and functionality with 6 speed settings from 170 lpm through to 220 lpm. Our standard long life battery gives you 19 hours run time. 5 hour charge time.
Comfortable and supportive belt and harness mean long term use is no problem.

Should the filter become clogged the blower automatically ramps up to give you a constant flow rate and when the filter is clogged too much then the blower unit will sound an alarm as well as vibrate to alert the user, plus the warning symbol will be present on the display.

Maximum Comfort In Use - Designed to be Worn All Day
Our PAPR mask is different to most as it has two air feed pipes with the air flow into the mask being at mouth level ensures you will not suffer with a cold forehead nor dry eyes, which is common problem on many entry level masks and even some premium brands with a single top feed pipe.  The symmetry of the hose design on our mask keeps the mask evenly positioned on your head whereas a one tube design can cause unbalance on the mask.  (It costs much more to test the mask as the tests have to be carried out on each air feed pipe - which is why most masks opt for one feed pipe).
The excellent air feed system coupled with the support that the belt provides, which includes a shoulder hardness to ensure any strain is distributed away from your waist and uses some of the strongest muscles in your body, those in your torso, mean this PAPR system really can be worn comfortably all day.
