The Garage Low Cost Black welding mask has a true colour automatic darkening filter (ADF) which is variable between shades 5 to 8 and 9 to 13 the optical quality of the small ADF lens has good visual measuments achieving 1 / 1 / 1 / 2 which is easier to achieve due to the compact viewing area of 92 x 42mm the welding shade adjustment is external from DIN #9 to DIN #13 with a grinding position, which when selected which prevents activation. For cutting and very low amperage TIG the shade adjustment is possible from DIN #5 to DIN #8.

This Garage Mask is our entry level automatic welding mask, it is a good mask for the money with advanced features, how the cost has been kept low is by fitting a small viewing area, when compared to current models in our range plus what is available in general.

The welding mask has a standard three band headband which has a great deal of adjustment so should suit all requirements.
 
Suitable to weld from 5 Amps in TIG. 

True Colour ADF lens technology is the current welding lens technology which provides improved view compared to the old "green" lens ADF true colour allows a closer colour to what the naked eye sees.

There are two replaceable batteries and a solar panel to ensure that your mask reacts as quick as you can expect. 0.0001 of a second in fact. Which is about 100 times quicker than the blink of an eye.
