Conventional Welding Modes
When in conventional welding modes, once you have set your machine to the required welding process you are able to set your welding current at exactly the right level for the job you need to do by adjusting a fraction of an amp as and when required. (No big step changes in power).  The digital controls enjoy 20 "indents" per revolution, however when you rotate the control quickly by 1/4 of a turn the adjustment is course and will adjust to full scale quickly, whereas if you rotate the digital control slowly the adjustment is 0.1 per indent.
